Transgender cyclist stands alone on victory podium, and pressure on Monty Python to delete "Loretta" scene from Life of Brian stage show

Sky News Australia reports on a man who entered an off-road bicyle race as a female was stupefied after winning race because no women would share the winner's podium with him. 

And John Cleese, the Monty Python great, is under pressure to cut the "Loretta" scene from an upcoming stage production of Monty Python's Life of Brian.

In that memorable back-and-fort, Stan, played by Eric Idle, scolds the Cleese character, Reg, as they sit in a Roman auditorium at the time of Christ when he explains that he now wants to be a woman, his new name is Loretta, and he wants to have babies.

 
"You haven't got a womb," Reg scoffed. "Where's the fetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?" 

In a movie with many memorable lines, that passage is epic.
