Elon and the suspensions, a much better explanation

This Fox News link give a better explanation of this so-called "attack" on free speech by Elon Musk that you might have seen elsewhere.

As always, never believe the media hype. The absurdly named email newsletter "Reliable Sources" by CNN's Oliver Darcy gives one of the worst accounts of why the Twitter accounts of the New York Times' Ryan Mac, CNN's Donie O'Sullivan, and the Washington Post's Drew Harwell, leftist journalist Aaron Rupar and longtime blowhard Keith Olbermann.

What really happened? In short, Musk banned several accounts for sharing a link that posts the location of his private jet on Mastodon. Musk fears that an attempt on his life might be made.

Did these banned-from-Twitter journalists loudly object, or even object at all, when Twitter suspended the New York Post for breaking the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020? And what happened to the leftist mantra from 2020-2021, "Twitter is a private company, it can do whatever it wants?"
