Lori Lightfoot's Summer of Joy in Chicago has ended. Over the traditional final weekend of summer, 11 people were shot to death and at least 44 others were wounded.
According to Hey Jackass Chicago, 1,107 people were shot and killed in Chicago during the Summer of Joy, with 224 homicides.
Of this past weekend's violence, there was a mass shooting on Sunday in South Chicago were two people were killed and another two wounded.
In Greektown on Labor Day an axe-wielding man was shot to death inside a marijuana dispensary.
