Two years after calling on him to resign for racism, Joe Biden calls Ralph Northam his "pal"

After it was revealed that Virginia's Democrat governor, Ralph Northam, had a picture of a Klansman and a man in blackface on his medical school yearbook, Joe Biden called for Northam to resign. 

Yesterday at a rally for fellow Dem Terry McAuliffe, who is running for governor, Biden called Northam his "pal."

That was not a slip of the tongue for Biden. This spring the president also praised Northam.
