The Band - The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down

Thursday night I watched the documentary Once Were Brothers--Robbie Robertson and the Band on Hulu. Great stuff although I thought the film was a bit easy on the moribund middle period of these groundbreaking musicians. Although drug abuse by some of the other members of the Band probably contributed to those doldrums.

Another documentary of about the Band of course is the Martin Scorsese-directed motion picture The Last Waltz. Scorsese appears in this new rockumentary.
