Two night's ago leftist protesters started fires outside and broke windows at the condominium tower where Portland's Democratic mayor, Ted Wheeler, lives. Monday was Wheeler's birthday--and it was not a happy one as the Portland police again declared a riot.
Yesterday Wheeler apologized to his neighbors and said he's moving out.
Reacting to leftist violence is the oxygen that feeds the beast. Antifa and its allies will only be emboldened by the mayor moving to a new residence. And unless Wheeler resigns--which is what the radicals want--and moves far from Portland, the protesters will only track him down to his new home.
