Kim Foxx, the Cook County state's attorney who stupidly dropped the charges surrounding the hate crime hoax of Jussie Smollett, survived a Democratic primary challenge yesterday.
Her primary opponent was Bill Conway, who had a lot of money but little common sense. He didn't challenge the leftist on her refusal to prosecute shoplifters who are accused of stealing merchandise worth less than $1,000. Not surprisingly, there is a surge in shoplifting in Chicago and the suburbs.
Pat O'Brien is the Republican nominee this fall for state's attorney. Vote law and order. Vote O'Brien. Here's one key part of his platform: "Enforce the criminal statutes, as written, not with political agendas."
