Chicago tops list of MSN Money's 50 cities Americans are abandoning

Decades of corruption and malfeasance from the hands of the Democratic machines headed by state House Speaker for Life Michael Madigan and former Mayor Richard M. Daley are bearing their bitter fruit. People are leaving Chicago in droves. Proof? America's third-largest city--for now--tops MSN Money's tally of the 50 Cities Americans Are Abandoning.

Two other Illinois cities, Peoria and Rockford, also made the cut.
