Chicago Bears CEO speaks out in favor of new players-must-stand anthem rule

Earlier this week four leftist members of Congress from Illinois released to the media a letter they sent to the management of the Chicago Bears that criticized the team for supporting the new NFL policy, which is popular with fans, that requires players to stand when Our National Anthem is performed. The spoiled millionaires do have the option of remaining in the locker room while the Star Spangled Banner is played.

One of those left-wingers who signed the letter is the woman who, in theory at least, represents me in Congress, Jan Schakowsky (D-Evanston). If that name sound familiar, it's because her felon husband, Robert Creamer, spoke favorably of sending leftist goons to Donald Trump rallies to disrupt them.

Liberals don't support free speech unless it toes the leftist line.

Today the chairman of the Bears, George McCaskey, spoke out in favor of the new policy.

“We think players should stand and we encourage our players to stand,” McCaskey said “We told our players that last September and we feel the same way.”

Good for him.

Go Bears!
