Alderman: Lincoln bust vandalized on Chicago's South Side

So it begins. Chicago Ald. Raymond Lopez (15th)  reports that an 81-year-old bust of Abraham Lincoln in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side was vandalized. Lopez doesn't say when this criminality occurred.

Removing statues of Robert E. Lee can easily lead to razing George Washington statues. President Trump is right. Sure, Washington was the Father of our Country, but he also owned slaves. Yes, Lincoln led the Union during the Civil War and he despised slavery, but his opinion on blacks for most of his life was arguably racist.

This week the Lincoln Memorial in Washington was vandalized with red spray paint and this message: "Fuck law."

Where does it end?
