A massive explosion that rocked a highly secure diplomatic area in Kabul has killed 90 people and injured more than 400 people, the Afghanistan government's media center reported.
The center raised the death toll Wednesday after initially reporting that at least 80 had been killed in the blast, believed to be caused by a suicide car bombing.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast, though both the Taliban and the Islamic State group have staged large-scale attacks in the Afghan capital in the past.
