Chiraq carjackings nearly doubled in 2016

In the latest National Review, eminent urban affairs expert Heather Mac Donald reported that pedestrian stops by Chicago Police were down 80 percent in 2016. Today the Chicago Sun-Times tells us that carjackings nearly doubled last year.

Coincidence?

No.

Oh, in its article, the carjacking surge was called an "uptick" by the Sun-Times.
