Chicago, with a declining population, will remain a sanctuary city

Chicago, for now America's third-most populous city, will remain a sanctuary city, Mayor Rahm Emanuel says, despite President-elect Donald Trump's vow to pull federal funding such places.

People are already voting with their feet in Chicago--its population is at its lowest level in nearly a century.

Starting immediately, the law requires that tenants who pay their rent on time can remain in their home until the end of their lease, unless the bank sells the property to someone who intends to make it his own residence home loan service provider
