Squeeze: Strong in Reason

Squeeze's first album, recorded as U.K. Squeeze, was produced by former Velvet Underground member John Cale and for the most part it's a mess. Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook hadn't hit their stride yet as songwriters and Cale tried to infuse punk rock into the band's sound.

There are some good tunes, including one about a bodybuilder, "Strong In Reason." Watch as Squeeze performs it in 2010. As there is a muscle man on the cover of U.K. Squeeze, this is arguably that album's title track.

"Cool for Cats" is a great song by Squeeze. It sounds nothing at all like the rest of their stuff for some reason.
