Obama to visit Detroit Auto Show and experience "comeback" of city

Detroit's SW side
President Obama will visit the North American International Auto Show in Detroit later this month. While in the Motor City, Obama will view what is being called comeback of the long-troubled city. He'll see some progress in downtown and Midtown, but much of the rest of Detroit remains a wasteland. Of course the Secret Service won't approve visits to Grixdale, Virginia Park, or the Packard Plant. On the other hand, abandoned homes and factories can be easily noticed from Detroit's freeways.

From my post at Da Tech Guy:

I walked its streets--the tragedy of Detroit.
