Build the Keystone Pipeline: Stop sending money to hostile regimes

Earlier this year after seven years of dithering, President Obama finally made a decision on building the Keystone XL Pipeline. In a bow to his environmentalist campaign contributors, Obama said "No." This of course is the same president who claimed, "We cannot just drill our way to lower gas prices."  Gasoline was selling for near $4 a gallon when he said that, now it's less than $2 per gallon in most parts of the country. Why? Because Saudi Arabia lowered the price of oil to combat the fracking boom in North Dakota.

Obama was wrong. Again.

But of course that means we are still sending cash to Saudi Arabia--whose subjects have a long history of financing terrorism. Details are still rolling in, but one of the San Berdardino terrorists, Tashfeen Malik, lived in the Islamo-supremacist state for a while. Citizens of other Persian Gulf states also contribute to violent Islamic "charities."

But Canada is our friend. Short of buying American oil, shipping Canadian petroleum by way of Keystone is a direct method to fight the War on Terror.

I'm stupefied as to why Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and other Republican presidential candidates aren't bringing up the Keystone issue.
