(Photo) Grosfield Building in Detroit

On the corner of Michigan Avenue and 23rd Street in Detroit is an abandoned building that one was the home of Anthony Grosfield Hardware. The conical roof, which some call a "witch hat turret," caught my eye; I've always had a soft spot for them.The store was on the first floor, apartments were upstairs.

A tattered sign out front promise that the Grosfield Apartments were "coming soon."
