Germany, Europe's largest economy, is on pace to accept one million migrants--or if you prefer, economic refugees, from Syria, Iraq, and other nations from the Middle East this year

You can safely assume that the adults Germany is taking in from these nations will be collecting government benefits or whatever they call welfare there for the rest of their lives.
