Classic car: 1964 Chevrolet Impala

With a couple of interruptions, General Motors has manufactured the Chevy Impala since 1958. Pictured here is a 1964 hardtop coupe. Today the Impala is a steady seller for Chevrolet, but its number are beefed up by fleet sales, rentals, and police cruiser versions.

But GM was on top of the world when this classic rolled of of the assembly line.
