Almost forgotten now, but the Ford Falcon was a popular vehicle for the number two automaker in the 1960s. Before he became possibly the worst US Secretary of Defense in history, Robert McNamara was a Ford executive--he's considered the "Father of the Falcon."
This vehicle was produced from 1960 through 1970, pictured here is a coupe from the Falcon's penultimate year that was parked down the street from me in Morton Grove.

My brother owned a Falson as a teen. hehad a 65? convertible with the Mustang 289 engine in it. Itwas the same saize as a Mustang and became a 'poor boy's" alternative. Ran and looked great.
