It's nice to see that a poor boy from Deerfield, the son of an itinerant Vice President of Motorola Corporation, can become a self-made man.
Not every home in Deerfield is a mansion. And the libs, erroneously I believe, called Rauner a billionaire during last year's campaign. VPs at Motorola are not billionaires or anything close to it
From the mean streets of Deerfield to the governors mansion, all the while overcoming the shackles of an Ivy League education. From lowly son of a Motorola VP to CEO. It's a true Horatio Alger story. Bruce is truly a self made man.
