Lula Ford, a former teacher, principal, assistant superintendant, and a Democrat, tell us in this video why she is supporting Republican Bruce Rauner for governor of Illinois.
"That's why as a Democrat I’m voting for Bruce," Ford says, "because I realize he's very much about education for children, especially in underserved communities and the inner city."

How can this former educator say, "Bruce Rauner WILL follow through and do what he says."? No politician can do anything individually. Rauner says we should vote for him because he is not a politician. Isnt that the same as saying you don't want professional teachers? Or experienced doctors? Business experience does not always transfer to politics. We have evidence in Washington right now.Buying an election is not what is best for our people. Rauner is the kind if businessman who let profit come before quality care in his nursing homes. He has allowed his wife to lie in his ads saying she is a democrat (but never admitting she has donated huge sums if money to republicons. This is dangerous. How much did he pay Lulu Ford?
