Before some car people mocked older people's tastes in automobiles as "Buick Beige," General Motors offered "Your Father's Oldmsobile."
But I liked Oldsmobiles and I used to own one.
The vehicle, which I found parked on the streets of Morton Grove, is an Olds 1994 International Series Cutlass Ciera.
Between the wheel rim and the front door hinge, you might notice the international badge, which is now a prized junkyard artifact.
As for the color, it goes well with the post-winter grass and the sand-hued ranch home behind it.
