(Photo) Rare Latvian Blue cows

One of the rarest breeds of cattle is the Latvian Blue cow. They are hardy beasts--they're tolerant of cold and snow, of which there is plenty of in the Baltic state.

Mrs. Marathon Pundit took this photograph in Kandava, which is in the Kurzeme region in 2011.


On the left is a stork, which are very common in Latvia.
