"When you have someone like the Senate majority leader come out in the middle of the surge and say 'this war is lost,' I thought that was one of the most disgraceful things I've heard a politician say," Gates said.
I'll tell you what else is disgraceful. The victories gained in the surge are slipping away because President Obama pulled our troops out too early from Iraq.
