Global warming: Ice storms strands thousands of Southern motorists

The latest polar vortex ventured far south of the Midwest; an ice storm punished Georgia and Alabama. Thousands of motorists were stranded in Atlanta as cars had no place to go, reminiscent of what occurred on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago during the now legendary 2011 blizzard.

Of course there were numerous car accidents. Children were stranded in schools, workers were forced to spend the night in their offices.

While this storm was pummeled the South, President Obama was giving his State of the Union address, where he declared, "The debate has been settled. Climate change is a fact."

As I wrote this morning, through taxes and regulation, Obama and the liberals want to force up the price fossil fuels--making driving your car and heating your home much more expensive. But man-caused global warming is not a fact.
