White House tours are cancelled, but Obama will host two LA sports teams next week

Sequestration cuts have closed off what Michelle Obama calls "the people's house" from tours. However, President Obama will host two championship sports teams from Los Angeles next week, the Galaxy and the Kings.

Obama's priority of pandering to millionaire celebrities has not been altered by the sequester. While the First Lady will turn the even into an anti-obesity clinic on the White House South Lawn, she could easily hold such an event on the National Mall instead.

In related news, Obama boasted that he completed his NCAA basketball tournament bracket, but he still hasn't gotten around to finishing his federal budget proposal.
