Mediation between the stubborn Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco and Grain Millers Union and Hostess has failed--and liquidation of the iconic American firm will move forward.
If it looks like I'm being harsh towards the union, I am not. At some point unions have to realize that they are not in charge. Businesses exist to make a profit, not to employ workers. They hire employees to assist them in earning money.
It's that simple.
