Although
silent on the legal problems of his son, the Reverend Jesse Jackson proved again that he does not believe in a color-blind society. At his weekly shouting-fest at Rainbow/PUSH headquarters yesterday, Jackson put his shakedown money where his mouth is. Telling his audience--as if they didn't know--that blacks overwhelmingly voted for Barack Obama last week,
Jackson proclaimed, "What do we want? We want, we want, we want, we deserve, we deserve … a return on our investment,"
There is some good news. Jesse's audience is shrinking. Notice
all of the empty seats at Rainbow/PUSH in the CBS 2 Chicago video.
