Temporary setback: County judge tosses out Walker budget repair legislation

Occupy Chicago rally., May 2012. Lower sign reads,
Mubarak "check," Qaddafi "check," Walker, your (sic)
next.  Time to reconsider the Arab Spring comparisons.

Like the Florida Supreme Court beloved by liberals during the Bush v. Gore drama, the Dane County courts are the refuge for the left who oppose Governor Scott Walker's budget repair bills that pushes back against public-sector union overreach.

A judge in Dane has thrown out Walker's groundbreaking reform legislation.

Walker has already lost in Dane County--one of the most liberal jurisdictions in America--and prevailed later on appeal. Even if Walker and the Republicans eventually lose, the public-sector unions are still much weaker.

It's a different ballgame now. Walker proved that you can punch the union bullies in the nose and remain standing.
