Labor Day news dump: 3 years after Van Jones, Suzanne Barr quits

Another Obama news dump
Rather than governing, the Obama administration focuses on playing the news cycle. Three years ago, communist and 9/11 truther Van Jones, the White House green jobs czar, resigned on the day before Labor Day--when dramatically fewer people were paying attention to the news as they focused on picnics and the opening of the college football season.

Today, on the Saturday before Labor Day, another embattled top Obama administration official quit. As with Jones, I'm sure that she was told to pick the holiday weekend to bug out.

From AP:
A senior Obama administration political appointee and longtime aide to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano resigned Saturday amid allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior lodged by at least three Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees.

Suzanne Barr, chief of staff to ICE Director John Morton, said in her resignation letter that the allegations against her are "unfounded." But she said she was stepping down anyway to end distractions within the agency. ICE, a division of the Homeland Security Department, confirmed Barr had resigned. The Associated Press obtained a copy of Barr's letter.

Barr is accused of sexually inappropriate behavior toward employees. The complaints are related to a sexual discrimination and retaliation lawsuit filed by a senior ICE agent in May.
Barr has been accused of fostering a 'frat house' atmosphere at ICE.

From Fox News:
In the newly emerging affidavits, one of the employees claimed that in October 2009, while in a discussion about Halloween plans, the individual witnessed Barr turn to a senior ICE employee and say: "You a sexy" (expletive deleted).

"She then looked at his crotch and asked, 'How long is it anyway?'" according to the affidavit.

"Several employees laughed nervously," the affidavit said. The names of the workers making the claims have been redacted.
This announcement comes three days before the start of the Democratic National Convention. The Obama regime is guessing that Barr's bailing will be old news on Tuesday.

What a bunch of cowards.
