In web video, Romney campaign shows Obama that economy is not "fine"

While I was at CPAC Chicago on Friday, President Obama issued a whopper of an out-of-touch statement. In a press conference, Obama said "The private sector is doing fine."

 Huh?

In the next sentence, the once and future (January 20, 2013) Chicago resident dug himself into an even bigger hole.

"Where we're seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government."

Good Lord. My state income tax was hiked 67 percent last year to pay for Illinois' public-sector union largess. And afterwards we still have an $8 billion dollar deficit.

Obama can't divorce himself from his love of Big Government.

Nationally, the Obama White House promised that the unemployment rate would not exceed 8 percent if the Democrats' stimulus bill was enacted. Over three years later the jobless figure is still over 8 percent.

The increasingly nimble Mitt Romney campaign has already responded with a web video.

Meanwhile, Obamsa's Svengali, David Axelrod, dodged questions on whether the private sector is doing 'fine' three times this morning.
