Imagine the chaos of having 40 or 50 unions in one department store...

Earlier today, the Senate voted down an amendment that would have defunded NLRB's plans to implement micro-unions.
Here is the WFI statement on the vote:
"Once again, certain members of the U.S. Senate have proven to be anything but friends of employees and employers during one of the worst and prolonged economic downturns in American history," said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). "To be clear, micro-unions only benefit Big Labor bosses and allowing them to unfairly gain a foothold in businesses by organizing unions with as few as two or three members will not create a single job. Today's vote did garner opposition from Republicans and Democrats alike, which will make it even more difficult for supporters of job-killing micro-unions to explain to their constituents why they stood with President Obama's labor board over local employers."Jobless claims rose last week. And closer to home, there is more bad news for the economy. Illinois lost 1,800 jobs last month.
