"Affordable Energy Means American Jobs" |
Four years ago Obama vowed to bankrupt any energy firm who dared to build a coal-powered plant. West Virginia's governor and his predecessor, US Sen. Joe Manchin--both of whom are Democrats--have not said if they will endorse Obama for reelection.
Last week West Virginia Republican US Rep. David McKinley, wrote a letter to the EPA's inspector general. In response to the infamous crucifixion comments from former EPA senior administrator Al Armendariz, McKinley is "requesting that you investigate the actions by EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, her Assistant Administrators, and Regional Administrators against coal, gas and oil companies."
President Obama started the War on Coal--and West Virginians are fighting back.
