There's a Chicago-area connection with the late Andrew Breitbart. The editor-in-chief of Breitbart.com and the "Big" sites, Joel Pollak, says the show will go on. When asked by
Chicago Magazine about Breitbart.com, Pollak, a Republican who ran against Rep. Jan Schakowsky in Illinois' 9th Congressional District two years ago--where I live--told the magazine, "Yes, yes, it'll go on in a big way."
Pollak didn't want to say much more--he doesn't want to overshadow this tragic news. The Harvard graduate, attorney, and author lived in Skokie, where he grew up, until very recently.
Breitbart, a conservative media icon, passed away, suddenly, at the age of 43 today.
There's much sadness in the conservative blog-o-sphere today.
