Two more US soldiers killed in Afghanistan over Quran burnings

CAIR HQ, Washington
Two more Americans soldiers--bringing the total to four--were killed today in Afghanistan over the accidental burnings of some Qurans. On Thursday President Obama apologized to Afghan President Karzai over this mistake, but Newt Gingrich responded, "It is Hamid Karzai who owes the American people an apology, not the other way around."

The outrages are spreading. In Libya a cemetery for British soldiers who perished fighting the Nazis was desecrated. In Iran, a top military commander is calling for burning the White House and hanging our commanders because of the Quran burnings.

There is nothing on the Council on American Islamic Relations site about the killings of our soldiers, but CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told Iranian TV, "I think even a more concern than the Quran is the repeated killing of civilians."

Hey Hooper: What about your concern over the deaths of our troops? Or the call from Iran to burn down the White House?
