Nanny state: Stimulus funds being used to fight soda and sports drinks

Federal stimulus funds are being used on a 'Rethink Your Drink' campaign in Cook County, Illinois, where I live. Instead of soft drinks--known has pop here--or sports drinks, our nanny state and nanny county says you should drink water and low-fat milk.

Folks already know that water and milk are better for you than those other drinks. And there are better uses of federal money. National defense comes to mind.
