The Obama NLRB sneaked a nasty "present" into our Christmas stockings.

Obama Labor Board Fires Parting, Job-Killing Shot At American Employers

Washington, D.C. (December 21, 2011) – The Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) today released the following statement in response to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) finalizing rules for "quickie" or "ambush" elections, which will soon be published in the Federal Register:

"The new rules promulgated by President Obama’s labor board once again target workers and small businesses seeking to survive in the worst economy in memory. Instead of fulfilling his commitment to stand by those who create jobs and keep the economy moving, Obama has once again proven his interest lies in rewarding union bosses through misguided policies advanced by labor radicals masquerading as unbiased and 'independent' government bureaucrats," said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). "The new rules advanced by the National Labor Relations Board limit free speech and challenges to unqualified voters in advance of an organizing election, in addition to disallowing pre-election issues from being heard until a vote has taken place. The intent of these actions is clear, to forcibly unionize employees and employers irrespective of whether or not they want to form a collective bargaining unit. As the year concludes, the NLRB has sent a parting, job-killing shot at employers and in turn will cost more Americans their livelihoods, while Big Labor continues to receive the 'payback' they have demanded from this administration."
