Blogging from Las Vegas.I'm in the foreclosure capital of America right now. Which is ironic, because Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), the chair of the Democratic National Committee, said unemployment has not gone up since President Obama took office. That, my friends, is such a lie that her statement doesn't even reach the low measure of simply being wrong. The national unemployment rate was 7.8 percent when Obama was sworn in--it's now at 8.6 percent after peaking at 10.1 percent.
Here in Nevada the jobless rate is 13.4 percent.
