WFI Issues Labor Day Statement & Obama Prebuttal

Washington, D.C. (September 5, 2011) – The Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) today released the following statement in advance of President Obama addressing union bosses in Detroit, Michigan:

"As President Obama steps before the teleprompter this Labor Day in an effort to remind union bosses why they should continue to bankroll his campaign, he may want to consider what effect job-killing policies have had on the city of Detroit," said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). "On this Labor Day, fewer Americans are able to find work as the small businesses that drive our economy are the targets of an all-out assault by regulatory agencies, like the National Labor Relations Board, seeking to reward the president’s political contributors in Big Labor at the expense of jobs. If President Obama is at all curious where this road leads, he will get his answer by touring the city of Detroit."
