Obama in 2009 and now on peddling infrastructure "investments"; nothing new

Palos Heights, IL, June, 2010
Get this: Here is what President-elect Obama said in November, 2009:

We are going to have to make sure that we are investing in roads, bridges, other infrastructure investments that lay the groundwork for long-term economic growth. A lot of that goes through our states and our local governments.
He's still using the same sales pitch. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate, which the White House said would not exceed 8 percent, has been over nine percent--after breaking the 10 percent threshold--for almost his entire presidency.

You had your chance, Obama.
