Dem Nat'l Committee running ads promoting Obama's Stimulus II

I don't recall the Republican National Committee ever spent funds promoting the policies of George W. Bush. But Bush wasn't The One.

From the Denver Post:

The Democratic National Committee is running ads in Denver and a handful of other integral electoral states this week to promote the president’s jobs bill.

President Barack Obama is delivering his bill to Congress this afternoon. In a Rose Garden ceremony about an hour ago, he said he is hopeful Congress will act on the $447 billion job-creation bill.

"Some world events may be beyond our control, but this we can control," he said at the ceremony. [Is Obama still blaming the Japanese tsunami for his economic failures.]

The ads show Obama beseeching Congress last week to pass his bill, saying the next election is 14 months away, but that people who need jobs now don't have "the luxury" to wait 14 months.
As for the GOP, it responded to the ad blitz by saying the Democrats are "out of ideas" to fix the economy.
