Remember those White House "unprecedented" boasts?

West Branch, Iowa
The stock market plummeted again today--the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 519 points.

Early in the administration of the Cult of Change, the word "unprecedented" was bandied about in just about every press release issued by the White House. Well, it's unprecedented to have our credit rating lowered--not even after the 1929 stock market crash while Herbert Hoover was president did that happen.

Hoover, by the way, served just one term. Failed presidencies aren't "unprecedented." See "Carter, Jimmy."
