The debt-ceiling is expected to be eclipsed on August 2. Will the be a default? The following day the president will hold a day-before-his-50th-birthday party at Chicago's historic Aragon Ballroom.



I wondered who booked that hall? Chicago's Uptown neighborhood has a well-deserved reputation for violence.
