Barack Obama, our first and hopefully last anti-business president, has been knocking tax breaks for corporate jet owners--which, by the way, were part of his failed stimulus bill.
Of course someone has to make those jets--Cessna is such a company. In the first quarter of this year the small aircraft manufacturer posted a loss. But the second quarter was kinder--the Wichita-based firm posted a profit but it wasn't enough to offset losses from the first quarter.
Will Obama's jet-bashing contribute to another downturn for Cessna?
As for the president's class-warfare tactics, well, millionaires aren't working the Cessna assembly lines.
