President Obama chose John Bryson, a member of Boeing's board of directors, to run his Commerce Department. Bryson is critical of the NLRB overreach in the South Carolina case.
"I think it's not the right judgment," Bryson said of the NLRB suit against the aerospace giant at a Senate confirmation hearing earlier today, which he viewed as a surprise. He said that Boeing was "doing the right thing for the country," adding jobs in America--not overeas.
Obama's chief of staff, William Daley, declared about the Boeing case,
"You can't defend the indefensible." Daley is a former Boeing board member.
