Citing recently increased personal and corporate income taxes, the CME Group, the parent company of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicao Board of Trade, is considering moving from Illinois, where it has been based for over 100 years.
Florida's Republican Governor, Rick Scott, is asking CME to relocate to his state.
Sears, which has called Illinois home since 1886, is also considering leaving because of the new taxes.
