Tea Party Express IV is Pure Michigan today

The Tea Party Express motors into Michigan today. The Jackson rally just began--if you are in the area, head to Steve's Ranch Restaurant. Then it's on to the Detroit area for a 4:00pm Waterford event at 315 North Telegraph Road.

Usually TPX rallies don't begin so late, but there is an 8:00pm function in Monroe--hometown of George Armstrong Custer. Monroe is represented by Democratic Rep. John Dingell, who has served in Congress for over 50 years!--is a walking conflict of interest. Last year on his financial disclosure statement, Dingell listed ownership of over $300,000 in General Motors Government Motors stock. He owns stock options worth between $500,000 and $1 million. Dingell's wife worked for GM for 32 years, she was laid off last year.

Republican Rob Steele offers real change in Michigan's 15th District. Let's make it Dingell's last stand.

The Monroe event takes place at Hardwood Plaza.

Andrea Shea King is part of the TPX freedom caravan, reports on the Springfield, Illinois rally.

ThirdWaveDave has tons of TPX updates on his blog.
