Mason-Dixon poll: Paul leads Conway by five points in Kentucky Senate race

There has been talk that the Kentucky US Senate race is tightening up. But Republican Rand Paul leads Democrat Jack Conway 48 percent to 43 percent, with 9 percent undecided, according to a Mason-Dixon poll.

But Paul shouldn't panic. The Lexington Herald-Leader tracked down well-known political analyst Larry Sabato, who told the paper, "That's not a great majority of a lead for Paul but I believe it's almost impossible for a conservative Republican to lose in Kentucky this year."
