The sound of breaking glass from the Dems

l love the sound of breaking glass
Especially when I'm lonely
l need the noises of destruction
When there's nothing new
Oh nothing new, sound of breaking glass.

Nick Lowe, "I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass," 1978.

From Politico:

The DSCC yesterday circulated my item on Mike Castle's minor property tax penalties, which noted that he'd attacked his rival over her personal finances.

"Politician Mike Castle has been in Washington long enough to know that those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones," said DSCC National Press Secretary Deirdre Murphy. "After doing his best to slime his opponent over her failure to pay taxes on time, it turns out Castle also has a bad habit of forgetting to pay his taxes. Whether it's his constant waffling on the issues or his hypocritical attack ads, Mike Castle is proving why he's just another Washington politician who has been in office for far too long."

Turns out, Harry Reid's in a similar boat, having paid a full $434 penalty on his Ritz-Carlton condo.

"Democrats should have heeded their own advice about throwing stones when you live in a glass house because one of their stones just landed on the Senate Democrat Leader. But we appreciate their help in highlighting that Senator Reid not only lives in the Ritz-Carlton in Washington while taxpayers in his state suffer from 14.3 percent unemployment, but that he also appears to have been delinquent on his taxes." - Brian Walsh, NRSC Communications Director.
